Repetition doesn’t always yield obedience

Reading from the book of Deuteronomy this morning has made me realize that repetition doesn’t necessarily yield to obedience.

When the Israelites were about to cross over to the Promise Land, Moses kept reminding them of God’s commands. He repeated it several times, at least to the chapter I’m currently on. That is chapter 12.

He told them over and over again to obey the Lord as if repeating it would yield any results.
